No. Wandering Monster is inspired by classic Dungeons & Dragons, but the rules are handled automatically.

Choose what your hero says and does; the AI Game Master handles the arithmetic, calls for rolls, resolves consequences, and tracks the state of the adventure. Familiarity with tabletop roleplaying games can help, but it is not required.
